Situated on the south facing slopes of a stunning valley with the imposing presence of Croghan Mountain to the rear, Croghan House is a fully landscaped hobby farm on the Wicklow/Wexford border offering excellent self catering accommodation in two delightfully renovated stone cottages that blend historic oak-beamed charm with a modern, open-plan layout. Guests can wander freely around the farm and enjoy the relaxing company of the horses, donkeys, geese and ducks, maybe picnic beside our brace of large ponds by the forest or simply sit out on the extensive patios and take in the views. If you can drag yourself away from here for a while, we are only 15 minutes drive from the home of Ballykissangel - the Vale of Avoca, or the sandy beaches of Castletown and we are also handily situated for holidaymakers to access the expanse of natural beauty that forms Wicklow and Wexford. Only an hour from Dublin, yet a world away from the bustle and stress, this is the perfect place to unplug from daily life and become immersed in the tranquillity offered by this very special part of the Irish landscape.
